The largest enclaves of Bangladesh, Dahagram and Angarpota, in Bangladesh, are located in front of border border of Patgram upazila of Lalmonirhat district. A 'passage' was arranged for the contact with the enclave in the mainland of Pakistan, which is also known as 'Three Bigha Corridor'. Since 1985, the Dahagram and Angarpota enclaves were known as 'Dahagram Union', an independent union of Patgram upazila, and on 1 August 1989, the Union Parishad was inaugurated. According to the agreement signed in the Hasina-Manmohan meeting held in Dhaka on September 6, 2011, three bigha corridors are being kept open for 24 hours.
